On March 3rd, we are planning a skiing outing at Cannonsburg near Grand Rapids. We will need 25 people in order to get the $10 rate. This price does include rental & lift ticket. Helmet rental and lessons are extra. Check-in would be at 9:30 am and skiing would end at 2pm.

On February 18th, we will meet at City Limits in Mason for some bowling and fellowship time. The price would be roughly $6/person and be from 2-4pm.

Ladies, another word of encouragement after our time of fellowship yesterday. Thank you Yevette for sharing with us what God has been teaching you and directing us to Psalm 16:8 and Isaiah 43:1-5. I got on Facebook and see February is Homeschool Burnout Month:) Let's keep our eyes up on Him!

I hope I don’t push you all too much, but my heart is in the right spot I believe. I know some people are more private than others and maybe it SEEMS like what you would have to share is not of value or confusing or simplistic, but if we’ve learned one thing this year - hasn’t it been that God does amazing things with the seemingly simplistic????!!!!
So I would challenge you to remember that the enemy desires us to keep our mouths quiet… he desires to keep us from praising the glories of our God and creator… he desires us to focus on head knowledge and not heart knowledge….and he definitely doesn’t like it when we overcome our fears and share our “seemingly” simplistic thoughts about God with others because he knows it is contagious and blesses others!!
This week, let’s determine to be like the worm…. seemingly worthless in the world’s eyes, but trusting that our Creator made us to glorify His name. Let’s do our job with His praises on our “pencils” and not believe the enemy who says, “You’re just eating dirt. You have no purpose..” REMEMBER God takes our faithfulness and obedience in these little things and brings forth life!!

Thank you to Mrs. Dysart for organizing and hosting our Fellowship/Service activity for December. We were able to visit Green Acres Retirement Center in Mason, MI and bless the residents there with Christmas carols during dinner and homemade Christmas cards. We then headed over to the Dysarts for some fun and food!

As we begin our second year together, we have firmed up our mission and goals and even chosen a name that reflects who we are striving to be as a group of homeschoolers.
